Audit Assistant Manager
Morgan Mckinley is recruiting an Audit assistant manager on behalf of a highly rated mid-tier firm in the UK. The firm has fantastic offices based in North London and pride themselves on their forward thinking, supportive and progressive working environment.
The firm's audit and accounts clients range from owner managed businesses, international business and large limited companies across a broad range of industries. They are continually growing, it's an exciting time to join the team to progress your career.
This position offers agile working, allowing you to work remotely and flex your hours. You will receive support throughout your career progression with a dedicated partner mentor to guide you
Responsibilities:
In this role you will have the autonomy to manage a small portfolio of your own, ensuring you manage your clients' and Partner's expectations. This will include allocating, planning and reviewing jobs together with regular contact and meetings with clients. You will have a team of audit & account seniors and semi-seniors reporting to you on jobs and will be responsible for the mentoring and training of staff.

Professional experience
- Accounting qualification with a regulatory body such as ICAEW or ACCA.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within practice.
- Strong technical accounting experience in UK GAAP and FRS 102 in particular. Experience with IFRS is preferable but not mandatory
- Experience of leading both audits and non-audit assignments from planning to completion are essential.
