Our client is a well-known consulting firm. They are looking for experienced, high-calibre, revenue-focused individual to take on a senior leadership role in their fast-growing Insurance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients on Insurance investment and ALM work, with the individual expected to win and deliver projects related to a broad spectrum of credit risk work, which may include credit risk modelling (including capital modelling and validation), credit risk management, internal credit rating assessments, credit risk frameworks, matching adjustment, and illiquid assets.
- Generate ideas and run the delivery of those solutions with the team
- Deliver strategic growth plans, as well as supporting daily operation of credit risk.
- Lead a team to win new client engagements and grow new and existing client relationships and deliver assignments in a wide range of areas.
- Representative for Insurance Investment & ALM, including thought leadership materials and presenting at events
Requirement
- Qualified actuary or CFA charterholder (or equivalent) with experience in credit risk, illiquid assets and Solvency II.
- Deep expertise and knowledge of investment and ALM of insurer, with significant track record of various engagements.
- Strategic insight and knowledge of the issues, challenges and opportunities facing life and general insurers and reinsurers, in the UK, in Europe and beyond.
