An award winning top 100 firm in East London are recruiting a brand-new Audit Senior role. The position has come about due to the continued growth of the firm.

Reporting directly into the Partner or Manager (depending on the size of the assignment), as an Audit Senior you will be responsible for leading audits and preparing accounts for clients across six key sectors. You will also review the work of more junior staff and be put on a path to start managing your own portfolio and eventually become a Manager.

Audit Senior responsibilities

• Ensure the maintenance of relationships with both internal and external clients
• Managing a mixed portfolio of clients
• To ensure work and projects are completed within reasonable and realistic time frames
• Overseeing audit planning, field work and audit reporting
• Assisting with the planning of audits, including undertaking walk through tests, identifying risks to a company and liaising with clients at planning meetings
• Liaising with client's over obtaining information and undertaking the audit field work
• Preparation of audit files including evidence testing and documentation
• Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax calculations as required
