Compliance Services Specialist - EMEA

The Team:

S&P Global is seeking a motivated Compliance Services Specialist to facilitate daily management of client deliverables within the Compliance Services team. You will be responsible for managing client inquiries and client support for the Compliance Services outsourcing platform. Additional responsibilities include partnering with other S&P Global business lines around client resolution and satisfaction.

As a member of the EMEA Compliance Services team, located in Manchester, UK, you will be responsible for the oversight of your client portfolios to ensure day to day deliverables are achieved.

Responsibilities:
  • Generating and managing the day-to-day deliverables for clients (primarily capital management firms)
  • Reconciliation of key data points with trustees
  • Generate compliance test results for comparison to the monthly trustee reports and research variances
  • Monitor cash collection, payment, and reserve accounts to ensure activity and transactions are processed correctly
  • Manage inquiries regarding collateral attributes and transactions, facilitating the workflow and timely resolution between internal groups
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Ability to travel when required
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level experience (Accounting or Financing preferred)
  • 3+ years in the financial services industry (preferably including functional knowledge of Collateralized Loan Obligations - CLO's)
  • Banking or investment industry experience
  • Customer relations experience

  • Work collaboratively with teams globally to support and develop operating model
  • Analytical thinker who is both able to understand and interpret complex data
  • Strong, business-level verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Able to effectively work with teams across functions and regions
