Key Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for PMO Manager.
  • Working alongside on and offshore peers in the PMO team.
  • Partner with key functions at peer level e.g. Finance, Operations, Admin, HR.
  • Oversight of PMO projects, initiatives, ad hoc requests and BAU.
  • Enhance and support operational processes.
  • Ensure production documentation is maintained that supports day-to-day activities.
  • Maintain a repository of artefacts / templates via collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence).
  • Facilitation of resource forecasting / finance management. RAID maintenance on PMO deliverables.
  • Assist the PPT community with navigating PMO processes and PPM procedures.
  • Produce PMO monthly project status reporting.
  • Utilise date to generate and support multiple Tableau reports.
  • Site owner for PMO Confluence page, including content and access.
  • Support Finance team with data collation exercises.
  • Act upon information shared from supporting functions to drive data quality.
  • Coordinate the delivery and contribute to the content of Management information packs.
  • PPM portfolio administration / maintenance (e.g. Project status).

Key Skills/Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate must be a confident self-starter, with exceptional organisation skills focusing on optimisation and efficiency and extreme accuracy, whilst working under limited supervision and maintaining timely / high quality output for all initiatives undertaken.
  • Previous project centric PMO experience at enterprise and / or LOB level, across an array of technology / operational divisions, including but not limited to; software development and vendor-implementation.
  • Experience of working in the financial services sector
  • Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail and communication skills, such as reading stakeholders and balancing messages with tact and assertiveness.
  • Strong experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, and Word, with particular emphasis on having advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Strong experience with analysing large alpha / numeric data sets.
  • Experience of Tableau business intelligence and analytics software.
  • Good working knowledge of Jira and associated workflows.
  • Knowledge of PPM / PMO toolkits, such as Clarity / PM3.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of project lifecycles.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills of self and others, enabling balance and timely output
