Your new company
One of the largest UK Pension Funds invests in Private and Public market assets including Property, Real Estate, and Infrastructure. Because of continued growth combined with organisational change require a Real Assets Fund Accountant to assist in developing the financial reporting service to the Real Assets investment team and seek to deliver a service that is best in class.
Your new role
Perform daily accounting oversight, support the fund accounting outsourcing program, reconciliation of the fund accounting record to the portfolio management system, preparation of financial reporting for pooled investment funds, liaison with auditors, preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, preparation of governance packs for regular meetings with third party administrator, set up new securities, reconciliation of unfunded commitment breaks and support the Real Assets investment team.
What you'll need to succeed
Part qualified or newly qualified fund accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) with a minimum of 18 months fund accounting experience within an asset manager or third party administrator Essential - direct accounting experience supporting the Real Estate, Infrastructure or Private Equity Assets area. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong Systems, Processes and Controls experience and used to support an Asset Management business. Excellent financial reporting and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
