Our client is a leading Asset Management firm based in London with offices in the UK and Luxembourg

Description

The Compliance Manager - Regulatory Affairs will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a regulatory subject matter expert, providing insight and advice to the business on regulatory matters
  • To identify all incoming change to laws, regulations, codes and standards applicable to the business (collectively 'regulatory change') •
  • To provide thorough analysis of regulatory developments, supplying senior management, relevant colleagues and internal committees with timely and succinct analyses of such information •
  • To manage the business' portfolio of regulatory change, including coordination of the response to such changes, leading or supporting (as appropriate) delivery of associated projects and working closely with the Change team, as required •
  • To support the CCO manage the firm's relationship with its regulator(s), as well as manage ad hoc regulatory requests, escalations and regulatory engagements
  • To develop relationships with relevant industry bodies


Profile

The Compliance Manager - Regulatory Affairs should have the following skills:
  • Good understanding of the UK and EU legislative processes
  • Detailed knowledge of the regulations applicable to UK and EU based asset managers
  • Detailed knowledge of the products offered by the firm and the importance of being a regulated firm is required • A detailed understanding of the FCA's Senior Managers and Certification Regime and how it applies to the business is required.
  • A detailed understanding of the rules, regulations, policies and procedures as set out in the Compliance Manual is required


Job Offer

Salary of £70,000 -£90,000
