You'll be responsible for leading a team of analytical and administrative professionals, over-sighting a budget in excess of £millions/per year and implementing a governance framework, whilst delivering influential insight and advice for the benefit of our Group partners.

If you're passionate about finding solutions to complex problems, collaborating to ensure the right outcomes for both our internal partners and ultimately our clients, with an understanding of LBG's approach to market data or a desire to develop in this area, we'd really love to hear from you!

Market Data is a broad term used in reference to financial information vital for analysing, trading and accounting for financial instruments of all asset classes. It ranges from standard, individual and 'simple' services and content (such as professional workstations), through to complex data flows and sophisticated data processing platforms serving multiple businesses across the Group.

Your role will be leading the team to interpret data and deliver on a diverse set of business objectives requiring strong research, problem solving and analytical capabilities. You'll engage with senior leaders, influence our strategic decisions and collaborate closely with our market data vendors. Reporting into the Head of, you'll work closely together to shape the strategic direction of the team and will deputise for them when required.

What will you be doing?
  • Take ownership for crafting and delivering a key element of the organisation's end to end market data management
  • Lead a significant operational area for the organisation and implement a governance framework to ensure appropriate control and oversight
  • Manage and deliver required outcomes for a portfolio of projects
  • Implement a sustainable, cost-effective and efficient target operating model to support business needs, adapting as the business model evolves
  • Maintain relationships with key internal customers and act as their business partner
  • Identify and evaluate complex requirements against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs
  • Demonstrate continual awareness of industry and regulatory developments, applying your knowledge of the external environment, including regulatory landscape

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have experience of market data in some form, with demonstrable evidence of the following key skills:
  • Leadership: Highly motivated and driven to achieve individual and collective goals, with a keen focus on mentoring and creating an inclusive working environment that ensures everyone can be themselves
  • Analytical: Is a critical thinker and has a passion for problem solving, driving improvements, simplicity and automation
  • Communication: Able to effectively communicate ideas, issues and implications through storytelling and can distil and simplify messages into clear, concise communications that colleagues and senior leaders can understand
  • Influence: Diplomacy and credibility in front of senior audiences, with the ability to influence outcomes, providing balanced challenge where appropriate
  • Risk Management: A proven understanding of the Group's risk strategy and frameworks with an ability to identify, articulate and manage risks associated with third parties (e.g. cyber, data and operational resilience).

Interested? Apply today! Together we make it possible.

In return, you'll be rewarded with excellent benefits, personal development and a career that's enriching and full of opportunity!

Alongside a competitive salary you'll receive:
  • Generous pension contribution and 30 days leave plus bank holidays
  • A flexible cash pot (4% of base salary) to spend on benefits
  • A Discretionary Performance Share Award
  • Private health cover and access to Share Schemes
