About our client
Our client is a successful private equity firm that focuses on investing in businesses that support integrating renewable energy, lowering emissions, increasing energy efficiency and other improvements to existing energy infrastructure.
What the job involves

• Develop a thorough understanding of the energy market in relation to climate technology, sustainable infrastructure and renewable technology
• Coordinate external advisors and report on due diligence
• Your responsibilities will include assisting the senior investment professionals in the origination, analysis and execution of investments; evaluating investment strategies, value creation opportunities, and critical financial issues
• You will also be responsible for building and maintaining the investment models, and other finance and accounting tasks

Who we are looking for

• Relevant work experience within investment banking or transaction services in Big 4, energy private equity, energy consulting or infrastructure asset management
• Some financial modelling skills, these will be developed by our client through sending you on training and development courses
• Previous experience in energy is a plus
