As a Barclays Fixed Income Corporate Access Lead, you will be a part of Corporate Access Team focusing on our strategic initiatives and ensuring best-in-class service for our investors and other external partners. You will be liasing closely with Research, Sales, and Banking, as well as with our Events teams, to execute on conferences and meetings with corporate management, policymakers, government officials, and industry experts.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?
• Driving origination of corporate, macro, and industry access events in close collaboration with Research partners
• Ensuring a balanced, quality pipeline of corporate management events, policymaker events, industry events, and seminars/conferences throughout the course of the year
• Owning outcomes for allocations and execution of events as they occur
• Influencing change in the mix of the corporate access offering in FICC when necessary given client opportunities and market conditions
• Creating additional corporate opportunities for clients by deepening relationships with company management and investor relations teams
• Covering all relevant Credit sectors, including Consumer, Energy, Healthcare, Financials, Industrials, and TMT, as well as covering Emerging Markets, Macro, ESG, and Thematic
• Owning the delivery of the credit and macro conferences in partnership with Research, Sales, and Events

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Proven corporate access experience or similar industry experience within Research
• Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word
• Background in Series 7 & 63, or the ability to obtain quickly once hired

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Institutional knowledge of all aspects of the corporate access business.
• Working knowledge of industry systems - Bloomberg, Factset, Big Dough etc.
• Previous experience within Fixed Income Corporate Access
