Our client, a complex, government owned, financial institution are looking to hire someone with at least 7 years of experience, in their Quantitative Risk, Associate Director position.
Based in their London office and offering a competitive package up to £220,000. Including base salary of £130K, alongside 50% flexible home working, a performance-based bonus, generous pension contributions, and wider benefits such as private medical covers!

Responsibilities:
- You will have a high degree of autonomy in making decisions, engaging at internal committees, and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Implement the Liquidity Risk framework in line with requirements set by risk management, and act as second line of defence in monitoring liquidity risk ratios and limits.
- Oversee the process of designing and setting the relevant methodologies and system developments, including model selection and calibration, review of inputs and parameters and analysis of outputs to quantify credit, liquidity and/or market risk.
- Provide leadership and functional management to a team of risk professionals.
Ideally you will be or have:
- 7 years, capital markets or relevant experience gained within a complex financial institution.
- Knowledge and practical experience of using programming tools such as Python, C++ and R.
- MSc in Quantitative Finance or Sciences and degree in Mathematics or Sciences.
- Extensive knowledge of industry best practice and the latest status of regulation in the field of credit and/or market risk.
- An in-depth understanding of risk management and portfolio valuation techniques
