About our client

We are working with a highly successful, fast-growing Private Equity firm looking to expand their Investor Relations team in London. This person plays an essential role in assisting with capital raising, investor relations and syndication efforts with investors. This person will report directly to the Head of EMEA Fundraising. The firm are seeking diverse, energetic and dynamic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, entrepreneurial environment. You will have direct contact with institutional investors early on and will be expected to work across both fundraising and IR activities to best support the success of the business. What the job involves

  • Oversee, manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously such as assisting with investor due diligence requests, conducting market research, preparing materials for LPs and building relevant investor-focused models
  • Build and grow your investor network; at first supporting in investor meetings with the view of becoming more independent in time
  • Preparation of fundraising materials and bespoke content to be used in investor outreach
  • Execute ad hoc business development initiatives including strategic projects
  • Execute detailed research and analysis to assist in new LP origination
  • Interface with different business teams across geographies including Deals, Finance, Operations and Legal
  • Help to oversee and train junior members of the IR team
Who we are looking for

  • Degree educated with prior work experience in private equity, investor relations, placement agent or asset management
  • Strong analytical skills including fundamental modelling abilities
  • Knowledge of / and keen interest in private markets
  • Confident communicator; flawless written and verbal English language skills. Additional European language(s) would be a plus
  • A desire to be client facing able to represent the firm in a professional manner
  • High degree of maturity, professionalism and integrity
