JOB PURPOSE

This is a high impact role working with cross functional teams including product, engineering, analytics, data, sales, and customer success (among others) to drive business results focused on user attraction, conversion, adoption and ultimately, revenue.  We work in a collaborative environment, share ideas and challenge the traditional. You will have a keen eye for design, and the skills to create visually appealing user interfaces. This is a full-time, hybrid working position (1-2 days per week in the office). Competitive salary and benefits package offered.

MAIN DUTIES
  • Design visually appealing, easy-to-use interfaces
  • Working closely with our UX specialist, create wireframes, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas
  • Collaborate with the product and development teams to ensure the design is implemented correctly
  • Continuously iterate and improve designs based on user feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies


PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

Experience/Knowledge
  • 2+ years of UI design experience
  • A portfolio that showcases your design skills and experience
  • Experience with design software
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Deep understanding of modern design systems and best practices
  • Extensive use of data to understand users and make decisions
  • Proven record of deliverables on complex and loosely-defined problems
  • Solid understanding of the full product development lifecycle
  • Have a keen awareness of worldwide innovations, trends, feedback and competitive landscapes
  • Experience of international markets
  • Experience with Agile and scrum teams
  • Ability to demonstrate and report back on ROI of efforts/recommendations
  • Proven ability to earn trust through regular communication with all members of staff on status, risks and change control
