Investment Analyst - Credit - London-based Hedge Fund

We are currently in the process of working with one of London's most successful multi-manager hedge funds which is looking to bring on board a new credit investment analyst. The strategy that we are hiring for invests across Distressed Debt, Special Situations, and Capital Structure Arbitrage. The process that they employ has a heavy focus on bottom-up fundamental research that includes the building of valuation and financial models. You will be responsible for developing relative value and directional Long/short credit idea generation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about the credit investment space to take what could be a life-changing opportunity to work alongside some of the most successful investors in London. With a clear progression to a PM role, our client is looking for someone who has the drive to work hard and progress up the ranks.
In order to be considered for this role you must be a match for the below :

• Bachelor's degree from a top university minimum
• 5 + years' experience covering credit research
• Experience generating long/short credit ideas
• Be highly analytical
• Have covered developed markets predominately Europe and the USA
