About our client
Our client, a globally successful investment fund, are looking to hire a Compliance Analyst to join their expanding Compliance team. The group predominantly focuses on real asset investments, specifically across the American and pan-European market. The fund boasts a diversified portfolio and currently manages around $10 billion worth of assets, making it an exciting team to become a part of.
What the job involves
As the Compliance Analyst you will be working alongside the Head of Compliance on a daily basis. You will be responsible for assisting with a range of generalist tasks, as well as carrying out projects independently. You will gain exposure to areas of surveillance, monitoring as well as implementation across the compliance function of the business, utilising the expertise of other teams such as legal and operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior compliance professional looking to progress their career within the private investments space.
  • Assist in delivering compliance monitoring and surveillance programmes and carrying out appropriate reviews
  • Implement changes across the fund for control enhancement and procedure testing
  • Assist in preparation of external monitoring visits and audits by investors and consultants
  • Manage the CORE compliance system including SMF administration and employee attestations
  • Contribute to ongoing Compliance training delivery
  • Provide support to the Head of Compliance on several projects on an ad-hoc basis
Who we are looking for
  • Experience within compliance for financial services, asset management exposure is advantageous
  • Previous experience with compliance monitoring and KYC
  • An understanding of relevant FCA regulations and their practical applications
  • The ability to prioritise tasks under pressure, and meet deadlines as appropriate
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
