As a Business Management team member reporting to the EMEA MacCap Business Manager (based in London), you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with highly commercial, talented individuals. You will be a strong collaborator with both the investment banking teams and central support functions (Finance, Risk, HR, Operations) across EMEA, and have credibility with senior leaders. You will also be a strong communicator - both written and verbal - with an ability to be succinct and deliver key messages effectively.

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Production of risk and governance deliverables which may include reporting (e.g. to boards or other committees), providing support on audit and assurance activities, and working with Risk, Compliance and COO on incident management, training and periodic initiatives
  • Production of management information, reporting and dashboards including from Salesforce
  • Roll out of policy changes across the region including travel, expenses and Know Your Client (KYC)
  • Providing input for communications forums including town halls, Workplace and internal and client marketing emails
  • Office management including working with stakeholders on floor moves, office upgrades, technology roll-out, physical access management and related processes
  • Managing relationships with various stakeholders across technology, systems, risk etc. to drive change management initiatives
  • Coordination of intern and graduate programs for MacCap in London
  • Working with executive assistants to provide oversight, manage resourcing requirements, recruitment, policy changes and issue management
  • Developing and driving improvement initiatives stemming from our Employee Voice Survey

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • 3+ years' experience in a financial institution or large corporate in a similar role
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills, and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Comfort in a fast-paced agile environment and ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to drive initiatives autonomously, keeping the MacCap EMEA COO and Business Manager up to date as needed, with a strong can-do attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and process improvement mindset
  • Strategic thinker with the demonstrable success communicating and building relationships effectively across teams, and ability to listen and translate stakeholders needs into actionable outcomes
  • Intermediate experience in using MS Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce knowledge would be desirable
  • Any other European languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish) would also be beneficial
