  • The role is for a VP Business Analyst within the Commodities Technology Front Office Risk team in London in a hybrid office / home working pattern.
  • Citi are now one of the largest Commodities players in the banking sector, having grown rapidly over the past five years and we have ambitious plans to further develop our proprietary Commodities platform. Our technology challenges are therefore fast-moving and varied.
  • The team develops and supports a strategic platform which calculates, manages and stores intra-day and EOD risk data for front office trading and we need to increase the size of our team to support build out of the US Oil, Gas and Power trading operation.
  • Our roles offer motivated candidates the chance to engage with our trading, quants and sales teams in an agile way and learn the vital role that risk plays across a wide range of commodities financial and physical products and we offer the chance to gain experience of real-time pricing and risk techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Interface directly with traders, sales and quants to gather and define business requirements.
  • Contribute to the re-engineering. development and enhancement of a wide range of risk management tools.
  • Adhere to and continuously improve our processes and SDLC in a fast moving environment.
Knowledge / Experience
  • Knowledge of Commodities risk processes ( Front Office or downstream ) .
  • Knowledge of Commodities products and trade lifecycle particularly Oil, Gas and Power.
  • Experience with OpenLink preferred but not essential.
  • Team leading and stakeholder management potential.
  • Experience dealing with Quant libraries.
  • Experience in Python preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
