The Role: Senior Project Management, Strategic Projects & Initiatives, MI Technology
The Team: The Strategic Project & Initiatives team in Technical Business Operations is responsible for guiding and supporting the technology functions to deliver critical strategic initiatives, programs, and large projects across the division. We work with software development, IT Infrastructure, and business management teams to deliver programs of work, provide structure and transparency to senior leadership.
The Impact:
The Strategic Project & Initiatives team is looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills who can demonstrate experience in leading programs or large multi-year technology projects with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
As part of the MI technology function, we play a critical role in helping to deliver the key cross business line technology initiatives that help to drive the improvements for our businesses and clients.

Responsibilities:
• Ownership and management of complex large IT project portfolio, covering a combination of medium to large sized projects, progressing simultaneously from inception, through planning, into execution and successful delivery
• Meet project deadlines, identify project obstacles, proactively mitigate risks and escalate and resolve issues effectively.
• Liaise with internal and/or external stakeholders to provide expertise and input where necessary
• Excellent client facing skills and the ability to work/communicate with global stakeholders is essential
• Technical competency to troubleshoot and understand common problems and effectively communicate to both IT and business teams
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing, and mitigating issues, leading projects across various technologies, identifying and escalating risks and issues when required
• Able to start projects produce structured project plans, clear communications, regular project reporting, risk analysis and resource management
What We're Looking For:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Analytical and well organized with a Proven ability to work independently.
• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in Business, Finance or Technology preferred
• Experience in a financial firm is desired
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
• Flexibility and positive attitude towards meeting tight deadlines
