The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to join a successful and ambitious Central Investment team within an established Wealth Management firm.
The Fixed Income Portfolio Manager will be responsible for expanding the construction of Centralised investment portfolios, into the Fixed Income space, investing directly into Fixed Income markets, mainly Corporate Bonds.
The Portfolios constructed will be a mixture of Advisory, Execution only and some Bespoke client portfolios.
The Fixed Income Portfolio Manager will also invest directly into multi-asset class Funds as well as building out bonds / fixed income funds.
The Fixed Income Portfolio Manager will carry out regular portfolio reporting and evaluation process must remain in place, as the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for documenting any changes to client portfolio (asset allocation / changes to the financial markets).
The Fixed Income Portfolio Manager will assist with the evaluation of different asset classes and select appropriate securities for inclusion in client portfolios, whilst evaluating the impact of strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions and rebalancing client portfolios accordingly.
The Fixed Income Portfolio Manager will evaluate the impact of Fixed Income Bonds and fund specifics, market and general economic indicators and take appropriate action within client portfolios.
The Fixed Income Portfolio Manager will undertake day to day management and monitoring of model portfolios and production of investment proposals.
The Candidate
3-7 years' experience within Fixed Income Portfolio Management - with an understanding of more broader asset classes and how they can sit alongside Fixed Income bonds in a wider portfolio.
Sound knowledge of UK investment management industry and the regulatory framework
Relevant industry qualifications either PCIAM or full CFA - essential
Experience investing directly into Fixed Income Bonds and Fixed Income Funds
