Are you an Information Security Manager working within Financial Services, ideally Wealth or Asset Management?

We are currently recruiting for an Information Security Manger. You will be responsible for:
  • Business and technology relationships
  • Managing the security-based projects and security elements within other business projects
  • Business and technical analysis
  • Providing input to help shape future security strategy and delivery on the transformation projects
  • Managing the overall security roadmap and the dependencies with other teams
  • Supporting the security agenda.

We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of security controls and how they should be implemented across applications, systems and internal or cloud platforms. You should have solid experience in delivering security projects including technical process change. You need to be familiar with Security and enterprise IT frameworks ISO27001, NIST, COBIT5 or ITIL. You should have a strategic mindset: ability to drive transformation programs especially towards cloud solutions. You must have demonstrated the ability to build strong business partnerships - able to challenge and support. We are looking for someone who has confidence when presenting to Team Members, peers, and Technology Leadership Team levels

  • Ability to work under pressure and get the best out of colleagues

About Us:

Ruffer has £26 billion under management and just over 340 members of staff. It manages investments on a discretionary basis for individuals, trusts, charities, companies and pensions as well as collective investment schemes. The majority of staff are based in London, with small client facing offices in Edinburgh, Paris and New York.

Ruffer uses predominantly third-party vendor systems, supplemented with customised internally developed applications. Infrastructure and most of security services are provided by external suppliers and overseen internally.

Ruffer operates a 60:40 hybrid working policy, 60% of working time from the office and the option to work the remaining 40% from the office or at home.
