Role Overview

We are pleased to announce that we have an opening for the EMEA Compensation Lead Analyst (Vice President), a strategic regional role within our global Compensation Team.
  • The Compensation Lead Analyst, Vice President, is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business.
  • Compensation Lead Analyst provides comprehensive compensation service within Personal Banking and Wealth Management (PBWM).
  • Compensation Lead Analyst works closely with country/cluster, regional and global partners to meet business needs, the role will be a focal point for championing best practices across both PBWM business and EMEA countries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provides consultation, advice, knowledge and expertise to HR Advisors and business managers on compensation, reward and recognition related issues.
  • Manages annual compensation planning process for the PBWM Business including: salary increases, bonuses, and deferred compensation
  • Works with Compensation Lead to ensure consistent compensation policies and practices are applied.
  • Provides consultation and responds to inquiries from HR Partners on compensation, reward and recognition related issues.
  • Applies technical expertise in compensation principles, practices and procedures in the completion of assignments.
  • Impacts compensation end results through project management and client relationships.
  • Partners with other teams such as regulatory compensation and deferred compensation on key initiatives, year-end and day to day activities.
  • Engages in regulatory projects such as Material Risk Taker Identification which includes regular meetings with the business heads. Works with the business and regulatory compensation to ensure this process is accurately completed.
  • Partners and consults with HR Advisors and other senior compensation team members to implement and deliver on projects.
  • Manages multiple projects across multiple teams and has the ability to influence decisions.
  • Manages market data process including surveys, individual benchmarking, and presentation of results to senior managers.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant compensation experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
