An opportunity to join our rapidly growing Opportunistic Private Equity Real Estate division within Macquarie Asset Management during an exciting time, as our business is expanding and generating opportunities across Europe. As a leading global asset manager, Macquarie Asset Management provides global access to capital and opportunity, and we are seeking top-tier future leaders to help manage our growth.

As a Manager, you will join the Real Estate team based in London. Our team is actively pursuing and originating opportunities to deploy capital across 'new economy' real estate sectors and investment strategies, whilst also managing its existing investments. You will be an integral part of deal teams investing and managing opportunistic investments and work closely with senior members of the European team.

Your responsibilities will require you to:
  • Build and run detailed financial models and associated analysis, for potential acquisitions as well as existing investments
  • Work with the senior team to source and execute on new investment opportunities, assist with due diligence and other analysis
  • Conduct desktop research on potential acquisitions and sector themes
  • As part of asset management of existing and new investments, develop strategic direction and business plans, monitor financial and operational performance, identify potential improvements, and fundraise to accelerate their future growth
  • Assist in managing the development of more junior members in the team
  • Develop network internally/externally to be an ambassador for our business

If you have at least 2 years experience within investment banking, private equity, or funds management and have strong financial modelling skills, then we want to hear from you.

You will need to hold a Bachelors degree, preferably in a relevant subject, and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of corporate finance, investment and business reporting. Any knowledge and experience you have in the real estate sector will be favourably regarded.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be a highly motivated, proactive, entrepreneurial, and innovative individual. You will demonstrate sound business judgement and possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills which will give you the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
