We are working exclusively with a highly successful Real Estate Investment Trust who are seeking a Real Estate Analyst to join their team in London.

As a business they invest and strategically asset manage office, logistics and operational assets across the UK, whilst having capital to deploy into high performing areas of the market this year.

The role will report into the CEO and take an active role supporting the Finance and Asset Management team(s) to deliver high quality financial analysis and reporting on portfolio performance, financial modelling and underwriting to aid new investment decisions.

Real Estate Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the Group cash flow model to analyse expected returns of individual assets to inform decision-making.
  • Detailed financial and trading analysis on trading assets.
  • Report on key performance metrics (ERV, yields etc.,) based on tenancy schedules.
  • Analysis of expected returns from disposals whilst support on transactions. You will also be required to conduct scenario analysis for perspective debt refinancing.
  • Support the underwriting and due diligence or potential corporate and asset acquisitions.
  • Present modelling results in a user-friendly format to the executive committee, lenders and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis from the CEO and Asset Management team.

Real Estate Analyst Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working within the Real Estate industry and degree qualified in either Real Estate, Finance or Maths.
  • Detailed experience and understanding of Real Estate cash flows and ability to model leveraged cash flow structures.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel with the ability to produce complex models as well as produce presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. You will be required to create and present high quality documents for Board level reviews.
  • Understanding of financial statements and ability to analyse corporate investments.
  • Knowledge of Yardi (or equivalent property management system).
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional presentation skills.
  • Positive and diligent attitude with good teamwork and interpersonal skills whilst being self-motivated with the ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Office is based in Central London and the salary range is £70,000 - £100,000 plus benefits package and bonus.
