The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
  • Global change manager for the FM Sales Efficiency Programme, focusing on streamlining sales booking workflow, expanding E-distribution, and improving client experience through continuous system enhancement and process optimization.
  • Connect Corporate and FI Sales in the West to understand the specific sales efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a communications plan to engage and inform a wide variety of stakeholders in the West on FM sales & structuring' priorities and focus.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in Business, COO, Operations, Technology and other support functions; partner where needed to drive key Sales initiatives ensuring front to back alignment. Identify and resolve any gaps as they arise to ensure that cross-functional initiatives are set up for success.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and learning through collaboration with FM sales & functional stakeholders.
Business
  • Focus on process efficiency and client experiences. Connect business with product owners to solve issues strategically and tactically.
  • Maintain close working relationship with appropriate delivery teams from Technology, Operations. Facilitate an open and direct communication of issues, needs, queries, etc. such that these may be solved with common agreed solutions in an efficient, and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal relationships across CCIB to bridge silos across all Products and Segments.
Growth Opportunities
  • Analyse and understand the end to end the Trade lifecycle workflow and identify potential process improvements for Pricing, Trade Processing, Operations or Supervision systems.
  • Work with Technology, Macro Product team and other stakeholders to influence the prioritisation and build initiatives which contribute to boost the bank business.
  • Propose potential growth areas in collaboration with CCIB COO, DCDA to incorporate their offerings into the Front-Line systems so that FM Sales can capture business opportunities.
  • Engage constructively and diligently follow up on internal decisions that need to be taken to enable growth initiatives to be executed.
Processes
  • Oversight the existing processes for increased consistency and transparency.
  • Standardising all project management disciplines to follow best practice and simplifying where possible to drive simpler, faster, better processes for the bank.
  • Ensure that the governance and compliance framework grow in step with the business functions by routing all new developments through the existing regulations or SCB internal policies.
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
People and Talent
  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values within the FM Sales COO function and across the wider organisation
  • Actively communicate vision, priorities, and progress to the business to foster engagement, awareness and motivation
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and sharing best practice.
  • Driving consistency of FM Sales COO service by empowering and enabling staff to challenge for right outcomes.
  • Manage, coach, and develop junior members in the team specifically on project management and stakeholder management.
