This role sits within the Market Data Services function, part of Information Services Group within ICG Operations and Technology. Market Data Services is a global function that is responsible for strategy, business analysis and operations (ordering and invoicing) for all Market Data expenses at Citigroup.

Role/Position Overview:
The Market Data Contracts BA role is part of the Contracts function, which is responsible for managing the lifecycle of our vast number of Market Data contracts. The person in this role will work across with end users and vendors as well as the various functions in Market Data including procurement, operations and business advisory and exchange. The candidate will need to be analytical, tenacious, process oriented and willing to learn the Market Data contract space.
The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the Market Data Contract Life Cycle and have the opportunity to interact and build relationships with various teams and external vendors

Responsibilities:
• Work with Business Users, Vendors, Procurement and Market Data BAs to renew contracts, right size consumption and achieve fiscal saves
• Reconcile Vendor User Lists to Market Data Inventory
• Build relationships with our key stakeholders across the various businesses
• Understand the Contract Renewal process in order to gain efficiencies and free up capacity to take on further responsibilities going forward

Knowledge/Experience: • Understanding of the Contract Life Cycle is preferred but not required
• Proven Analyst experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to assist with process re-engineering
• Manage multiple diverse priorities and work well under tight deadlines
• Broad understanding of system flow and problem solving
• Attention to detail and accuracy of information being presented
• Collaborative team player with ability to establish strong internal relationships across businesses and functions
