Do you want to be part of a talented global team? Are you instinctively entrepreneurial and ambitious in nature? If you're determined to succeed, then we have a very exciting opportunity for you to help you reach your potential by joining one of the leading teams in the industry.

Join Macquarie Asset Management, the largest manager of infrastructure globally, in their European Real Assets team which is based in London.

You would join as a Vice President (or equivalent) in the Utilities team, which is responsible for investing into and active asset management of networks and energy infrastructure. Networks are critical to deliver the energy transition to net zero, and Macquarie Asset Management has committed to invest and manage our portfolio in line with global net zero emissions by 2040. We would love you to join this successful and growing team.

As a Vice President, working together with other investment professionals, your responsibilities would include:
  • Acquisitions, including development of the investment thesis and business plans, due diligence, and managing external advisors and junior members of the deal teams.
  • Asset management of existing investments, including setting the strategic direction at the board and shareholder level, and then working with management to deliver against strategic initiatives; and
  • People leadership, including coaching and developing more junior members of the team.

Knowledge of infrastructure investment management is considered important for this role. As such, you will have 6+ years of professional experience within an infrastructure fund, investment bank and/or consultancy.

You will be degree educated, be highly numerate, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. You will be a highly motivated, proactive and resilient individual. You will demonstrate sound business judgement and possess strong interpersonal skills, which will give you the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

If you want to be part of a talented and successful global team, and are you instinctively entrepreneurial and ambitious in nature, we want to hear from you!
