Fund Manager

What you'll be doing

• Managing a set of complex portfolios including illiquid holdings, maintaining the asset allocation in line with established procedures, and monitoring of investment tolerances.
• Leading the take on process of new Clients, Funds & Products, monitoring asset transfers, investing cash flows and setting management parameters in line with the mandate supplied.
• Overseeing the set up and amendment of client-specific distribution and performance benchmarks distributions for both institutional and retail clients.
• Actively assisting with client-servicing, responding to client requests, presenting to internal / external clients.
• Leading initiatives to ensure consistency and quality of service is maintained and improved, reducing operating errors and contributing to continuous business process improvement.
• Ensuring that procedures are reviewed, amended and monitored to control adherence to risk, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Evaluating and improving existing processes, as well as thinking and acting in a strategic and innovative way to help ensure the operational model remains effective and efficient as our business continues to grow and change.
• Pro-actively preventing, identifying, and resolving issues and errors (including assisting team members with problem solving and issue management) in a timely manner, reporting and escalating issues and risks as appropriate
• Assisting in the training and development of junior team members.

What we're looking for

• Excellent understanding of asset allocation mandates
• Trade generation
• Experience of managing projects
• Good understanding of pooled products
• Knowledge of all or some off the following; Securities/Instruments; Derivatives; Cash Management; Illiquid holdings
• Experience with complex mandates would be ideal
• Ideally we are looking for a confident presenter on technical matters to internal / external audiences
