Compliance Manager, Hedge Fund

Hedge fund manager with global presence seeks a Compliance Manager to hold SMF16/17 for its UK entity. Reporting into the CCO/General Counsel, the successful candidate will contribute to the establishment and operation of the global Compliance programme, liaising with the Senior Management and advising on relevant regulatory matters. As a generalist compliance post its duties span all areas including trade compliance monitoring, business risk assessments, oversight of AML matters such as sanction screening, ensuring regulatory changes are identified with plans to address them and ultimately acting as the main point of contact with the FCA. Candidates are sought with at least five years' asset/investment management compliance experience, within which trade/portfolio compliance is strongly preferred.
