Investment Associate, Private Equity Fund and Co-investments, London, UK

About our client

Our client is a well-capitalised, international and world renowned asset manager. It has a dedicated, active and growing private equity fund investment and co-investment focused deal team in London.

It is currently looking to bring an Investment Associate on board to cover buyout, growth, distressed and secondary funds across Europe and the emerging markets, with a particular focus on Asia. You'll work across the deal cycle, getting involved in origination, evaluation, monitoring and managing investments. What the job involves

• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on prospective investment opportunities
• Production of investment memos, analytical reports on target GPs and their portfolio companies
• Monitor the current investment portfolio including analysis of underlying assets within the GPs
• Research market conditions within the alternatives space - process research to support investment thesis

Who we are looking for

• Analyst level experience from M&A advisory or similar corporate finance experience is essential
• Proven ability to build financial models and run M&A execution processes
• Interest in primaries and co-investments within private markets
• Self-starter with a high level of maturity, commitment and ability to work well within a small international team
