This permanent role will support various initiatives across the company with a first engagement delivering of a 2-year programme of change for Investment Performance Measurement and Attribution, Investment Analytics and Risk ("PMAR").

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • This role requires business analysis (operating model) and Business readiness cross-functional engagement with senior stakeholders across the company.
  • Define, document and implement changes to the end-to-end operating models for the PMAR capabilities, aligning stakeholders with divergent agendas
  • Document current state, interim state, and target state operating models, comprising: Business process models, high-level to detailed in areas of change & Organisational models, roles and responsibilities
  • Help define the development of training materials by workstreams and schedule sessions with the appropriate audiences, including engaging with external vendors
  • Move forward preparedness for go-live, and contribute to mitigating business risks in approaching go-live and during the critical period
  • Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines
  • Liaise with internal development teams and vendors ensuring any solutions meet business requirements and implemented to high standards
  • Contribute tolead working groups if required as well as prepare necessary pre and post meeting documentation
  • Ensure project reporting responsibilities are met including managing and escalating risks & issues that may prevent the successful delivery of projects through the appropriate channels
  • Identification of solutions and communicating these to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations are clear and synchronised.
  • Report to the program level and feed into key governance meetings where appropriate

The role requires:
  • Proven Business Analysis experience and good command of business analysis techniques, methodologies and artefacts to support waterfall projects and agile software development.
  • Proven track record of implementing business process change, using tools such as visio.
  • Problem solving / analysis - ability to understand complex issues and to then identify and effectively communicate solutions, taking ownership of the problem through to successful resolution
  • Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate
  • Independently lead workstream efforts and work closely with the Head of Business Readiness to deliver communication to key stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills - the ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ideally, knowledge of Charles River, MSCI RiskMetrics, MSCI BarraOne, Bloomberg PORT/PORT+, FactSet
