Jupiter provides investment services to individual and institutional investors through mutual funds (UK unit trusts, Luxembourg SICAVs and Dublin OEICs), separately managed accounts and sub-advised funds. We offer our UK employees a 2-1-2 hybrid working arrangement where Tuesdays, Thursdays and a third day of your choice are worked from the office. The other two days may be worked from home. This facilitates collaboration and allows employees to maximise productivity whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

Background

As a senior member of the Risk team, the role will lead on the risk management activities with the Investment and Distribution teams and play a key part in the development of the ICARA.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Investment and Distribution RCSA's supporting all other RCSA activities such as incident reporting, KRI's, training and development.
• Manage the relationship with Investment and Distribution to help develop their control environments and find efficient solutions to resolving issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior management, ExCo and NEDs and other internal stakeholders.
• Delivery of the ICARA report including the winddown analysis and associated day-to-day processes.
• Contribute to all aspects of the ongoing development of the enterprise risk management framework.
• Support the Business Resilience program of work and assess ongoing BAU effectiveness.
• Ensure alignment of the Department's diversity and inclusion approach with Jupiter Group's values and associated policies.
• Support and develop more junior members of the team.

Desired Skills / Experience

• Minimum 7 yrs experience in asset management and risk
• Strong knowledge of ICARA and experience in developing the report.
• Demonstrated ability to understand investments and Distribution
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong relationship building skills
• Highly technical mindset, with proven experience helping to drive and implement process improvements within an environment of change
• Team player, ready to contribute to a transparent hard working friendly culture
