To ensure that our systems are robust, maintainable, scalable and deliver an excellent user experience, we recognise that having a clear and transparent evolutionary architecture is vital to us being able to meet the needs of the business now and in the future.

We wish to be able to leverage the latest data technology trends and tooling along with the power of the cloud to create a next generation architecture and are subsequently building out our Technology team to meet this exciting challenge.

Key Responsibilities

This role will work to build out a Quality Assurance function within the Software Development teams as we build out our core data platform. This is a perfect opportunity for someone to really define how a QA function should operate and add value to a fast paced software delivery pipeline.

Key roles:
  • Analysis of business requirements.
  • Creating regression test packs
  • Automating as much testing as possible and integrating into the CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensuring best practice and maintaining high quality releases into production on a frequent basis.

Desired Skills / Experience
  • The candidate must have demonstrable relevant testing experience gained as a QA Engineer or equivalent, with over 7 years' experience and with a passion for testing, automation and delivery.

Essential
  • Strong history of working in C# / .Net Automation environments
  • Framework experience with Selenium and / or SpecFlow
  • Capable working across CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, TeamCity or Jenkins)
  • Experience across API Testing (REST and Postman)
  • Prior experience in Agile environments is also required
  • Preferably hold an ISEB or ISTQB qualification but not essential
