We're seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Manager, Business Process Improvements/Best Practice to join our OPTISM ( Operations, Payments, Treasury, Issuer Services, Markets) t eam. This role is located in Manchester and it is in a Hybrid model.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Control complex analyses and implementation of projects. Design improvement plans that sometimes require collaboration with other functions.
  • Follow all governance standards and provide clear direction and leadership to the Officer team. Ensure teams use of business process improvement standards and methodology.
  • Apply strong analytical and communication skills, work independently under pressure, innovatively problem solves and is able to effectively attain buy-in from clients to drive implementation recommendations forward.
  • Manage and prioritizes team workload and resources. Manage implementation plans. Support functional leadership. Manipulate large, complex data sets to generate actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Manage implementation plans and resources across geographical areas. Serve as an escalation point and handles escalated issues from the team, other departments and the clients. Handle escalation of issues that will significantly impact business improvement implementation.
  • Consistently deliver quality business solutions and anticipates and manages client expectations. Effectively builds relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Be an effective leader. Understand how own projects and decisions affect other parts of the business. Support and encourage staff through development planning, performance planning, objective setting and performance review.
  • Coach and develop more junior managers. Manage a team and teams successful implementation of moderately sized, complex business process improvements.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred with at least 0-1 years in management preferred.
  • Experience in Operations, Business Analysis or Technology preferred.
