  • Standard Chartered Bank continues to grow and expand cash management capabilities in Europe, which enables us to support local and international cash management services for our CCIB clients. Connecting our clients from across our network in Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia to European markets
  • An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cash Product Management in UK to support the E2E mass commercialisation of UK and Europe cash management products and capabilities with a focus on expanding the corporate client base for domestic cash.
Responsibilities
Financial Performance
  • In conjunction with Cash Market Manager develop and own the overall business strategy and revenue growth initiative plans for Europe
  • Manage the execution of regional commercialisation of global cash product developments / functionalities with global/ local teams
  • Work with Product Owners on active product life cycle management, i.e. regular assessments of products, demonstrating that these are Fit for Purpose, Fit for Growth and Fit for Sale as per TB Product Programmes, CA, Risk, Conduct frameworks etc.
  • Developing the pricing strategy with product managers and managing client pricing and revenue optimisation, as well as playing a role in the execution of pricing policy, pricing strategy and portfolio / client pricing. Ensuring product profitability for the region.
Market and Client Development
  • Monitor competitive positioning and provide comparison / positioning analysis for use by Product / Sales / Coverage to drive new initiatives and product development or to develop/reinforce our competitive edge
  • Provide support for key RFPs and deals, CCIB Gold, Platinum and Silver Clients with aim of increasing the cash wallet penetration.
  • Ownership around sales campaigns with the objective of capturing wallet or market share across CCIB Segments.
  • Working with Sales to translate plans to specific sales campaign and represent Cash Product on regular corridor calls to drive pipeline growth through the sharing of case studies and deal replication.
  • Track and communicate progress on client acquisitions and deal performance against agreed KPIs.
People Management and Engagement
  • Own and develop training plans and sales enablement materials with clear KPI on target outcomes and measure of success.
  • Regular webinars with Sales, Coverage and FM to further strengthen product knowledge of Europe cash capabilities across the Network
  • Drive Cash Management Training across the Network and region as required
Brand and Marketing
  • Working in partnership with CABM to co-develop and commercialise our proposition, ensuring we promote the region, our capabilities and create widespread awareness, knowledge and understanding externally and internally.
  • Supporting in the delivery of internal/external communication of research/client inputs including leading proprietary events such as Treasury Leadership Forum, proprietary research and other media activities
  • Support in driving SCB Cash brand agenda for Europe including developing a Media Plan with Brand & Communications including awards, articles, and polls
Client Experience and Operational Excellence
  • Ownership and delivery of the end to end European cash client journey.
  • Working alongside IMO/Client Managers, Implementation and Service Operations in order to continuously improve the client experience and spearhead our drive towards achieving best in class operational excellence
Governance and Risk Management
  • Support Product Managers to ensure solutions comply with Product Programmes, CAs and front to back alignment with Functions to deliver compliance
  • Support to ensure adherence to, and execution of, regional Pricing policy for Cash solutions
  • Support in the management and responsibility of ensuring propositions and solutions are in line with operational risk, FCC and conduct frameworks, with a specific focus on where the proposition changes any aspect of an existing product.

  • Prerequisite 5 plus years of Regional / Global Product Management in Cash Product Management (payments, receivables, clearing) at a regional / global level with a GTS Bank
  • Experience working on cash management or revenue generating campaigns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to collaborate with sales team across the network.
  • Client facing experience, fluency & gravitas: 3 plus years experience in an Originating client advisory / pre-Sales specialist / solution specialist role.
  • Understanding of Cash Management Product across Payments, Collections and Liquidity Management
