About Client Experience
The CX organization, situated within Technology & Operations, touches all aspects of the client journey, and is aligned across 4 key pillars: Onboarding (Contracting, Client & Product Implementation, Due Diligence), CX Operations (COM, Invoicing, Reporting), CX Delivery (Client Experience Management, Whole portfolio Solutions Servicing), and CX Transformation (COO, Projects & Engineering, Analytics, Research). Fee Onboarding within Onboarding Delivery-Services is primarily responsible for onboarding portfolios for client invoicing purpose. The team is responsible for ensuring global consistency and efficiency of client invoicing process when onboarding new portfolios, change events and portfolio terminations. The function drives core client invoicing and partners to provide input and implement complex/non-core client invoicing requirements, as needed, to ensure client needs and expectations are met in a timely and accurate way.

Role Responsibility
We are looking for an experienced professional who is a self-starter, a problem solver, and dedicated with a strong operational background and people management experience to lead our EMEA team. The team's day-to-day deliverables include 1) Assessing, creating, maintaining and off-boarding client billing information accurately, timely and efficiently in billing systems to support proper revenue recognition and accurate and timely client invoice production; 2) Addressing clients and partners' queries; 3) Facilitating discussions and provide input to establish billing process for customized/complex fee arrangements and implement comprehensive hand-offs to invoice production team.

The successful individual should demonstrate strong leadership, passion, commitment, and the ability to build and lead the team, provide solutions and deliver results for BAU and projects. The individual needs to be an excellent communicator and a good business partner, working collaboratively with partners and the wider team. The individual is expected to take the initiatives to improve our operating model collaborating with internal business and technology partners.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead the team and drive commitment in BAU and projects to successfully deliver against both individual and team objectives
  • Manage the execution of day-to-day operations and meet targets for team deliverables, proactively planning and managing priorities for BAU and projects, ensuring optimal use of resource, and improving process efficiency.
  • Act as a deep subject matter expert, lead discussions, provide solutions and drive for better outcome, operational excellence and enhanced client experience.
  • Review and ensure quality of team's deliverables, including approving billing set-up as part of our workflow
  • Partner with collaborators such as Onboarding Implementation, Contracting, Client Business and Client Invoice Services, and Finance to deliver One-BlackRock
  • Responsible for process and controls ensuring compliance with policy and procedures, SOX, CASS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively investigate, call out and remediate issues/errors. Identify areas for improvement in processes and technology tools, with a lens on risk management and mitigation.
  • Lead/support projects and initiatives to improve our operating model collaborating with internal business and technology partners
  • Develop the team and grow SMEs and leaders for the team to succeed
Experience Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with preference to MIS, Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Keen interest in client service and operational excellence with a preference of 4+ Experience in an operational/accounting role in investment, financial services with focus on delivering quality client service and scalable operational process
  • Proven track record of strong performance with increasing levels of scope and responsibility
  • Proven experience with process improvement and risk management
  • Strong organizational, planning, analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships, deliver and get results
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task
  • High standards for quality, driving efficiency and accuracy in their work product
  • Desire to work in a high-energy / impact environment with a dedicated commitment to excellence
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, service-minded, solutions-minded
  • Professional, positive demeanor with a strong work ethic and integrity
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, intermediate to advanced level data analytic skills such as SQL and Excel, a strong interest in and capability for learning new applications and technical skills.

Our hybrid work model
