Finance Business Partner - 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract - £50,000 - £60,000 - Global Investment Mana

Profile Criteria:

Fully-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience ideally from the financial services sector. Doesn't have to bring investment / asset management sector experience (although this would be welcomed). They are looking for someone with a hands-on approach, good communication skills and a business-facing manner with the ability to build good stakeholder relationships
Finance business partnering experience
Excellent computer/systems knowledge with good data handling and data mining skills, in particular strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with experience using Access, and PowerBI being very helpful (but is not essential)
Experience of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning an advantage (but not essential)
Strong analytical and numeracy skills essential
Ideally a candidate who is available immediately or on a short notice period

Responsibilities:

Functional performance variance analysis of budgeted to actual monthly results, including presentation back to management;
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis for function heads and the CFO; for example, business cases for new endeavours, detailed dives into account line spend and run rate analysis;
Assist in the annual budgeting process for the Group, covering HR, Sustainability, Legal, Compliance and Risk functions whilst supporting at a Group level;
Improving current team processes to create efficiencies, reduce manual workload and allow value add activity to be central to the team operation;
Support with monthly assets under management (AuM) reporting as well as detailed revenue and margin analysis;
Perform additional assignments as directed by functional heads, CFO or Head of Finance Business Partnering as required from time to time.
