twentyAI are working with a cutting-edge Commodity Trading firm that specialise in Oil and Gas. They are building proprietary technology which is allowing a large return on investment meaning that they can expand their wider teams.
There is a requirement for a Credit Analyst to join their Credit function on a 12 month FTC engagement to complete counterparty assessments for all new and renewal entities. The role will be analysing counterparties' "credit worthiness" in order to recommend appropriate credit limits and managing credit support where necessary, while also liaising with the front office on complex deals.
They need someone with 2 - 4 year's working experience as a credit analyst preferably within the Energy industry, in particular Oil, Power and Gas. As well as having strong knowledge of analysing company Financial Statements.

Responsibilities:
- Complete counterparty assessments for all new and renewal entities.
- Initially to be the main focal point for the Gas, Power and LNG business and attend to the daily monitoring of Credit exposures and authorised Trading lists.
- Provide assistance to other Credit team members with the Oil business in London and our Bitumen, Marine and Wholesale units in Grangemouth and Lavera Credit Team members, where required.
- Ensure that the relevant credit systems are updated as required and in line with our credit policy.
- Assist with the Credit reporting and controls - routine reporting of credit exposure and risk measures, and anticipation and management of breaches and exceptions.
Requirements:
- Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- University Degree
- Experience working within Finance Team or a Credit Risk Team
- Working experience within the Energy Sector (Oil, Gas & Power, LNG)
