Who we are looking for
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for test case creation and execution for new development items. The role will also assist in the regression test case creation and automation. This role will report to the quality insurance lead for the portfolio construction tool and work with the business analysts, developers and business users to ensure testing is complete.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for
As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst you will
  • Develop and maintains ongoing relationships with business and technical communities.
  • Develop and execute quality assurance test plans, cases, scripts etc.
  • Prepare test scripts and data sets; configures testing tools and develop complete, automated regression suites.
  • Follow complete defect life cycle with root cause analysis and metrics reporting.
  • Assist with UAT effort.
  • Identify potential testing problems and areas for improvement and develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Be Responsible for successful and timely implementation of assigned projects
  • Deliver successfully within an Agile environment as well as demonstrate the flexibility and adaptability to operate successfully in such an environment

What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role
  • 8+ years of quality assurance experience with heavy backend verification
  • 3+ years of experience with test automation, hands-on development experience using 1 or more automation and test management tools such as Ranorex, Jira, HP ALM, etc.
  • Familiar with regression test, performance test and release process
  • Experience with SQL database software, preferably Oracle, and related tools such as PL SQL Developer or Toad
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and large testing projects
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills, ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S., Computer Science or equivalent course work
  • Experience in Financial Services highly preferred
  • Experience working with remote offshore teams
