This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM professional to drive the success of the CRM and marketing automation tool at my client's firm, with responsibilities ranging from training and adoption to data quality, troubleshooting and maintenance. We have recently rolled out Dynamics 365 sales and marketing apps as a key part of our technical strategy and this role is a critical part of ensuring its success and adoption. The role sits within the marketing data and operations team which is comprised of seven people, as part of a 35-strong Marketing and BD department.

We are looking for:

• A bright and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about marketing data and CRM;

• Someone who can think outside the box and come up with alternative solutions where Mar Tech may not be able to solve the problem;

• Someone with a deep understanding of the different types of marketing technology and how they fit together to create a solid Mar Tech stack;

• A process innovator that brings, and is willing to drive, new ideas, processes and support our drive for efficiency across the business development team and great data usage across the firm.

Main responsibilities

• Project manage the development and execution of quarterly function releases, planning / proposing what will be included in the release, coordinating work required and executing the comms/ release plan.

• Work with the core D365 team to create and implement a structured approach to logging, processing and prioritising bugs and issues with the sales and marketing apps;

• Support the junior members in the team on day-to-day queries (first point of escalation before it goes to the Senior Data/Ops manager);

• Work with the reporting executives to gain a better understanding of user behaviours - what functionality is / is not working and adoption metrics;

• Promote the use of the CRM and increase adoption through internal comms, presentations and training;

• Support the campaigns and digital team to identify data segments and create detailed customer journey flows with marketing touch-points;

• Support the Senior Marketing Data / Ops manager with wider firm reporting requirements, development of the Mar Tech stack (where integrations into the CRM are required) and other adhoc tasks;

• Establish close working relationships with the core data/ops team and the wider Business Development team;

• Keep up to date with best practices in CRM and data management, adoption and training tools; using the insight to bring in new ideas and enhance my client's CRM journey

Skills and qualities

• Excellent project management skills - prioritising, organising workload, planning, motivating others through to completion;

• Good at working on simultaneous projects, while working to tight deadlines and being calm under pressure;

• Ability to create and nurture relationships with others, both junior and senior;

• Ability to train individuals of all levels;

• A high attention to detail.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 5 year's experience in a CRM focused role, preferably within B2B professional or financial services;

• Technical understanding of marketing and analytics technologies, and some experience with implementing them;

• An understanding of professional services and/or a partnership structure.

Technical ability

• CRM administration, Microsoft Dynamics preferred;

• Microsoft Office suite (including Microsoft Teams);

• PowerBI desired but not essential;

• Microsoft Visio desired but not essential;

• Experience of wider Marketing Technology (marketing automation, Online event platforms etc.) desired but not essential;
