Job purpose
Reporting into the Early Careers Development Manager, you will support with the annual planning, review and delivery of the Professional Services (PS) Early Careers Programmes. You will help to ensure that the professional education and qualification pathways across PS are fit for purpose, remain current and that they deliver on the firms overall learning and development objectives.
As an L&D Business Partner you will work closely with key stakeholders within the PS business, Early Careers Recruitment Team and HR to ensure a smooth running of the programme and be the first point of contact for Training Managers, Associates and external training providers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on all learning aspects for the PS pathways from induction, professional education, qualifications and wider skills training through to qualification as Assistant Manager.
* Act as a subject matter expert for our PS Professional Qualification pathways. Knowledge of ACA, ACCA, ATT/CTA, AAT routes desirable. Ensuring that the apprentice standards are adhered to and individual learning needs met by end point assessment.
* Oversee the apprenticeship account to ensure our apprentices are correctly uploaded, working closely with suppliers to ensure they are enrolled correctly. Provide sufficient oversight of our levy spend and funding.
* Work closely with the Early Careers Development Manager to shape our ongoing apprentice strategy, ensuring that our apprentice routes are fit for purpose and meet the needs of the business.
* *Support with data management relating to tracking study and exam progress. Maintaining accurate and up to date records as required and analysing this data for key themes and trends.
* Work closely with the Early Careers Development Manager to design, deliver and implement the annual Early Career Induction Programme.
* Oversee the design and delivery of the wider PS skills training for Early Careers, acting as a subject matter expert and partnering closely with external training providers and internal training leads to ensure content remains fit for purpose, is innovative and meets business demands.
* Helping to develop appropriate content and learning journeys for our PS Associate population, to drive continuous improvement and self-development. Supporting our Associates to access the right information on our Learning Management Systems.
* Develop and manage effective relationships with our external training providers and suppliers, ensuring we have efficient processes in place with a view to delivering a best-in-class client service and ensuring we maintain an awareness of new offerings.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement and ongoing evaluation of the programmes, regularly reviewing programme content to ensure it continues to be relevant to business requirements, is of high quality and innovative.
* Effectively communicating with stakeholders, ensuring their continued awareness of all aspects of the programmes and ongoing engagement.
* Day to day management of the L&D Associate - delegating tasks as required to ensure the smooth running and delivery of our PS Early Career Pathways, providing ongoing support and guidance.
* Provide additional support on wider Early Careers L&D projects such as our onboarding process, internship programmes and Financial Services Early Careers programmes as required.
Key Skills and Experience
* Experience in a similar role within Professional Services or Financial Services, with a particular passion for early talent learning and development
* Excellent understanding of professional qualifications and apprenticeship programmes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact credibly with all levels in the organisation,
* Ability to work proactively and independently on own tasks, as well as confident in collaborating with others
* Ability to review existing processes and identify opportunities for enhancing our service delivery
* Excellent IT/Excel skills
* Experience of learning analytics and interpreting data to produce meaningful reports and information desirable but not essential
* Experience working with learning management systems desirable but not essential
Professional Qualifications and Education
* Educated to bachelor's degree level (or equivalent)
* Chartered Accountant qualification preferred but not essential
