Analyst, Renewables

Bruin are searching for an Analyst with experience in either Renewables, Utilities, Waste or Water, to join our client, a reputable Asset Manager based in London. The Analyst will work closely with the Co-Heads of Environmental Strategies and with the Portfolio Managers.

The client operates with a distinct sustainability-driven concept, they aspire to deliver long-term sustainable investment returns for our clients. Our concept has molded their business and guides everything they do. From strategy, culture, structure, products, and procedures; how they interact with clients; and their role in shaping the companies and markets in which they invest.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain company valuations including integrated financial statements and discounted cash flow models.
• Perform all elements of sector, company analysis and idea generation.
• Staying abreast of related technology, regulatory and governmental policy change

• Attend meetings with management teams of current and potential investments and other value chain stakeholders of current and potential investments.
• Write investment cases, market commentary and other content as required

Candidate Profile

• Fluent in English with strong writing and oral presentation skills.
• Candidate has a strong work ethic, can work independently and be proactive
• Fluent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and FactSet
• Candidate is flexible, commercial and works well in a team.
