We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Analyst to join our Global Asset Safety team. This role is located in Manchester (United Kingdom) with some remote / hybrid flexibility.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Monitor and complete control activities within the group and provide support for process improvement initiatives and projects including oversight of existing control framework, risk awareness and escalation, and operational and risk support activities to the business and wider group.
  • Provides guidance on control standards with some independence and suggests methods of updating policies and practices to address any risk concerns.
  • Provides insight to business on control effectiveness / risk management including corporate policy adherence.
  • Responsible for assisting in automation initiatives and to ensure control embeddedness across the team and appropriate change management standards are adhered to.
  • Ensures that existing control and procedures are appropriately documented.
  • Works with the group and wider business to understand the controls currently in place to minimize or mitigate risk and to work with business lines to support and implement change.
  • Provide regular updates to Management and wider team on project deliverables, achievements , emerging risks, areas for improvement.
  • Support the collective group in adhering to best practice and do the right thing whilst driving the banks digital growth agenda.
  • Tests control functions and communicates the successful and efficient performance of controls and business recovery procedures.
  • No direct reports, Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
  • Supports moderately complex projects.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Strong sense of integrity, with the ability to challenge others.
  • A good understanding of CASS, CAP, DGSD (preferred)
  • A combination of education and work experience required 3-5 years of total work experience in Financial Services (preferred).
