Investment Consultant (Technology focus)

Our client is a market leader in investment consulting sector.

Responsibilities

Develop new asset modelling tools including for portfolio analysis, monitoring, and strategic investment modelling tools
Communicate development teams to specify, test and execute investment modelling technology
Assist client teams with operating investment modelling tools
Assist with stochastic scenario generation and validation
Assist with generation and validation of yield curves and other investment assumptions
Operate stochastic ALM models for risk analysis and strategic reviews
Prepare and present modelling outputs to clients

Requirement

Solid experience of asset liability modelling and its application to providing strategic investment advice to investment clients
Experience of investment monitoring (e.g., performance monitoring, attribution and reporting) and its application for investment clients
Experience of designing / developing such models and dealing with internal and external stakeholders' requirements to deliver functionality that will be used across the Investment department and externally
Technical investment knowledge and programming languages (R, C#, VBA)
Design of new functionality for technological applications, including the drafting of specification documents, testing and user training
Candidate with less experiences would be considered as Associate Consultant
