IT Infrastructure Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services company, is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Perform server hardware and operating system provisioning, deployment, and upgrades.
• Perform server performance troubleshooting using standard O/S tools and third-party debuggers.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to the infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth integration of new systems and technologies.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Experience working in the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of server and networking technologies, such as virtualization, storage, and firewalls.
• Experience with virtualization technologies for server and desktop.
• Script writing experience, particularly PowerShell and Python.
• A firm understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and a solid understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Good knowledge of various server operating systems and technologies e.g., VMWare vSphere and Windows server.
• Good understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications in relevant technologies, such as CCNA, MCSE, or VCP, are a plus.
