Citi is seeking a candidate for the position of Prime Services Technology Client Integration Team Lead to manage the client-facing technology integration team within the firm's Prime Services division. In this role, the candidate would be responsible for managing the team's work, ensuring client deliverables are met and fostering service excellence, whilst upholding the firm's robust Risk and Control culture. The team supports numerous products within this business area, including Equity PB, Fixed Income PB, Prime Finance Swap, Futures, OTC Clearing and FX PB, integrating with various back-offices for processing and providing data-on-demand capabilities to our clients. It offers a very challenging job and provides tremendous learning and growth opportunities.
  • Plans and allocates the deployment of resources on critical client onboarding projects in line with anticipated client onboarding pipeline
  • Acts as an SME on critical projects, with franchise-wide impact
  • Interfaces with senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding status of projects.
  • Develops detailed resource plans and status reports.
  • Recommends and oversees process improvements.
  • Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
  • Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
  • Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
  • Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Capture and documentation of integration requirements for each request
  • Identify issues, risks, dependencies and assumptions to ensure accurate planning
  • Act as an owner for each request and provide transparency between the business users and technology team(s) on status
  • Supporting client connectivity set up and trade file testing
  • Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
  • Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of the Prime Services business
  • Excellent understanding of connectivity protocols (SFTP, SWIFT and FIX)
  • Experience in an external client-facing function
  • Proficiency with extracting and analysing data from databases using SQL
  • Familiarity with command-line interface applications (UNIX)
  • Proven diplomatic and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needs
  • Ability to negotiate and drive consensus across a diverse group of senior managers globally
