Job Summary
Background
We're building a strong Group centre in Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing (CABM) to support the Bank's strategy and aspirations and deliver a step change in our communications outcomes. We're doing this by bringing together the specialist teams that protect and strengthen our global brand, reputation and culture, and one of these teams is our new Story Lab.
Story Lab will produce creative and compelling global content, working closely with our Digital Channels team to drive positive engagement with our clients, colleagues and corporate stakeholders across owned, earned and paid channels. Together, the two teams will form an 'integrated storytelling engine' at the heart of the Bank, collaborating with our Insights, Data & Analytics team to measure and optimise content performance against CABM objectives.
Overview

This role will be crucial to ensuring that our corporate narrative and brand are reflected consistently and powerfully across our 'hero' visual content.
Managing external agencies and a team of in-house graphic designers, the Head of Creative will lead on the planning and delivery of visual assets to support key storytelling 'moments' for the Bank - such as major news announcements, content campaigns, financial results, insights reports and events - as well as day-to-day content for our internal and external digital channels. Assets will include videos, user-generated video content, documentary-style films, TV-style studio content, podcasts, animations, banners, PDFs, bespoke digital documents, images, illustrations, infographics and social posts.
