Investment Analyst - Early stage venture capital investing - Family Office
We are now working with very well backed family office. They are an active venture capital investor in early stage businesses. These investments can be in any sector, although there has been a tendency to invest in small tech companies.
The fund has made a number of successful investments and is keen to expand their portfolio.
They are now looking to add an Investment Analyst to their team to work on the execution of investments and portfolio management.
The role will involve the following:
- Full member of the Investments team, working on the execution of acquisitions for the fund - Origination of investments, carrying out an initial investment appraisal and due diligence of acquisitions
- Execution of investments
- Full involvement in all aspects of the transaction process including valuations, preparing and reviewing of documents, negotiation, management of advisors through to completion
- Portfolio management work
- Working with investee companies to help them achieve their strategic objectives
They are interested in meeting people with a background as follows:
- Investment banking analysts
- investment analysts from private equity or VC funds
- you will probably have 2 to 3 years work experiece
