As a member of our Identity & Access Management team you will be responsible for designing, implementing and operating access controls covering over 50 of our IT applications. You will help us design roles and access groups for clients and internal users, and ensure that we process access requests accurately and in a timely manner. You will play an important role in co-ordinating access reviews, as well as investigating access related issues. Our Identity & Access Management team is part of the Governance, Risk & Security (GRS) Group and you will gain exposure to and formal training in both Technology Risk Management and Cyber Security.
It is an exciting time to join the team, as we are in the process of introducing new technologies, which will digitize the user access request process and automate manual processes including user setup and access reviews. You will have the opportunity to work on these projects and will be expected to lead some of the improvements.
Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the Team Leader in Identity & Access Management .
  • Responds to access provisioning requests from clients and internal users, ensuring that these are processed in a timely manner in line with our security policies and internal procedures.
  • Coordinates access reviews with external clients and internal business teams on an annual basis to ensure that user access is appropriate to business roles, not excessive and does not cause a Segregation of Duties issue.
  • Deputises for the Team Leader when required and provides regular weekly and monthly Management Information (MI) on team performance, delivery against targets and any issues identified.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders over the phone, via video conferencing and by email to investigate and solve access related issues.
  • Acts as the workstream leader in process improvement and automation projects as agreed with the Team Leader and Head of Governance, Risk & Security.
  • Supports Projects to help implement changes to IT applications, provides advice on access management controls and configures testing accounts.
  • Supports annual internal and external audits of access controls, and provides documented procedures and examples to audit, to evidence that controls are operating effectively.
  • Integrates knowledge of IT applications and Information Security Policies to comply with access control standards, segregation of duties, data privacy regulations, etc.
Qualifications
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload and lead small improvement initiatives to agreed deadlines, working with teams across the business.
  • Good communication skills, so that you can communicate with and coordinate work across departments and with clients over the phone, via MS Teams and email.
  • Experience of delivering IT support to internal users or external clients. This could be general IT support (infrastructure, application or user support) and does not necessarily have to be in the area of Identity & Access Management.
  • Preferably, holds Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Computing, Information Technology or Business Management, or holds professional IT qualifications plus relevant experience.
  • Experience of working in the financial services sector is a plus
