The position of Senior Associate is dedicated to act as back-up to the Financial Institutions team by managing bank clients and the expansion/retention of existing relationship by effectively collaborating with client support and product teams.
Business development and relationship management:
• Maintains and grows a profitable book of business through disciplined and proactive business development and relationship management.
• Payments queries from clients (receipt of funds, executed payments, bank statements, audit trail).
• Takes ownership for client relationship with the bank under supervision of the existing RMs. Portfolio management
• Accountable for overall portfolio management, compliance and risk.
• Monitors direct and operating exposures of portfolio to ensure actual performance is consistent with approved limits.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience managing FIs relationships, and developing, structuring trade finance deals.
• Must be a self-starter, and have the ability to take ownership of high profile relationships while effectively communicating with senior management with supervision of the RMs
• Prepares, presents for approval; thorough, timely, and accurately analysed credit presentations.
• Arabic and/or French and English languages are crucial.
