Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Equity Long-Short Consumer Specialist to join our client's investment team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis on consumer companies across the globe, with a focus on identifying long and short investment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of consumer companies across various sectors, including retail, consumer goods, and healthcare.

• Identify long and short investment opportunities in the consumer sector based on fundamental analysis, market trends, and macroeconomic factors.

• Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to implement investment strategies and manage risk.

• Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions.

• Monitor portfolio positions and market developments to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience as an Equity Long-Short Consumer Specialist.

• Strong fundamental analysis skills and experience in financial modelling.

• Deep knowledge of the consumer sector, with a proven track record of generating strong investment ideas.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• A strong academic record, with a degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

• Relevant professional certifications such as CFA or ACA would be an advantage.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
